Weakening the squad during transfer window.. 18:25 - Jan 31 with 1288 views | stmichael | 2 experienced defenders gone and an inexperienced youngster in. No doubt we have weakened the squad but we have £5,000,000 in loan fees. Think its apparent what the objectives were.

Weakening the squad during transfer window.. on 18:37 - Jan 31 with 1249 views | this_charming_man | It’s incredible that we went into the window saying we were going to strengthen at the back and come out of it weaker.

Weakening the squad during transfer window.. on 18:43 - Jan 31 with 1239 views | Happy_Jack | It's all very amusing. The absolute bollocks they spout about strengthening etc. All they want is a profit and enough mugs to pay 20 odd quid for a burger and chips. It's comedy gold 😂

Yep and the amount of Cheerleaders we have who will happIly applaud our sustainable business model sucked in by it all. They are now saying the same as they did last January and the January before that. That we’re probably safe and as we’ve kept our powder dry this January it what is a difficult market we’re in a great place to have a proper rebuild in the summer. Nicks post last week was magnificent, “where is the evidence the owner just wants to make a profit from transfers?” Err, every single frigging transfers window pal.

Weakening the squad during transfer window.. on 10:48 - Feb 1 with 930 views | green | I must admit I fell for it last season and thought we were going to have a decent summer window. It’s such a shame because we’ve got a good manager but he’s bound to be getting attention from elsewhere and who could blame him if he went? | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Weakening the squad during transfer window.. on 10:58 - Feb 1 with 914 views | Bicester_North | Anyone who knows football knows that competition for places is a great thing, keeps players motivated. Our first team’s competition is now practically the youth team ffs. Wonder if there’ll be a dip in performances and motivation after this load of bollocks.

Weakening the squad during transfer window.. on 17:25 - Feb 1 with 814 views | grumpy | By not strengthening but in fact weakening the squad it sends a message to the fans that success would be considered by hanging on to a place in the Premiership all be it just. We could easily be sucked into a relegation scrap its that tight. I feel sorry for Ralph hes trying to get a tune from a one string banjo.
Weakening the squad during transfer window.. on 22:23 - Feb 1 with 720 views | areasix | Don’t forget we have a shed load of money out on loan if we could clear them out we could have spare wages and some decent money to spend. Ralph has always said that he likes working with a small tight squad and it has taken time for him to decide and try and be able to move some players out. I expect when we get enough points to be safe he will blood some youngsters to see if they can step up next year and will buy in the summer to actually make it his team and not what has been inherited.

In the last 12 months we’ve shifted a conservative estimate of £400k a week off the wage bill Gabbiadini Davis Austin Gallagher Targett Cedric Yoshida Clasie Plus what we’ve saved by loaning our Forster, Lemina, Elyounoussi and Hoedt We’ve brought in Djenepo, Adams and danso plus Kyle Walker Peters last week, so what c£150k in wages max? That makes us about £250k a week better off from the wages bill I’m sorry but I don’t buy the wage bill as an excuse, [Post edited 1 Feb 2020 22:43]
