Tranmere losing to Donny 21:07 - Feb 4 with 2388 viewsdingdangblue

Their 2nd game in hand on us (lost 0-1 to Sunderland last Wednesday). Hopefully it ends that way and when we meet them a week on Saturday we can put some real distance between us and the bottom 3. Currently we are 10 points safe.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

Made me laugh on Radio Matey on Saturday when they kept going on about Bolton's "brilliant win and performance v Tranmere".

Fact is, if they hadn't had 12 points deducted, Bolton would have actually been above Tranmere by now, so they were hardly playing Barcelona, were they?

Undoubted knowledge? Or just the application of common sense and using my brain?

And in the FA Cup - belting game at Oxford, Newcastle were coasting into the 5th round until those 2 great goals. 15 mins from pens and you'd fancy Oxford in those.

If we pick up a point per game that leaves tranmere needing 25 points from 16 games to catch us.

Fantastic result for Dale last night.

Just how many points will we need? surely it will be a record low for league 1?

Anyone see the Shrewsbury goal chalked off by VAR for offside in the build up? Around 3-4 phases before the actual goal is scored - and the player deemed to be offside was running away from the Liverpool goal - his heel deemed to be millimeters beyond the Liverpool player. Its that early in the move it isn't even shown on the replay of the goal footage! I believe VAR will ultimately work and be a benefit to the game but the way it's being used at the minute isn't fit for purpose.

Good night for Dale. Some comfortable daylight between us and the bottom 3.
If it's not at our expense I'd hope Tranmere stay up as another local side. But with their recent form they look doomed.

VAR is a joke and needs consigning to history as soon as possible.

Imagine how we would feel if that passage of play and the goal was ruled out?

Gutted for the Shrews.

Joke of the highest order!
