They were taking so long to wipe the blood off his head that I thought we were going to be down to 10 men when Villa took that corner but he managed to get back on the pitch in time. He really gave 100% today. |  |

Yes he worked hard and was much braver in running at defenders, and that was an imaginative bit of skill to set up Long’s nuts for the first goal.
His frustrating frailties are still there to see though, and I keep having to remind myself that he is still very young and inexperienced. | |
