What I have seen may happen and I think will actually happen. The Prem clubs will miss out on a shedload of cash from SKY / BT if they do not complete the season. Expect there to be an announcement of plans to finish out the Prem season, with all games to be played behind closed doors at 2 or 3 neutral venues, with 3 or 4 games per day one after the other all to be filmed on SKY / BT. A bit like a mini-World Cup for TV viewers. Just with no crowds or knock-out rounds. Season-ticket holders will probably get a code to give access to SKY / BT, preventing the clubs from having to reimburse fans for games not attended. SKY / BT run football, so I expect this to happen. | |
