Bounce Back Loans 11:49 - May 4 with 2407 views | Boris_ | Another great move from Rishi. £50k loans with no repayments for 12 months and no interest for 12 months, fixed 2.5% APR for the remaining 5 years with no Early Repayment Fees. Good job we have a business minded government leading us through this pandemic.

Am applying for two of my BUSINESSES for the £50k. Don't really need them but never going to get a chance to borrow money on those terms again so will grab the cash and invest.

Great bit of Entrepreneurialism there Boris. The country is going to need people of your ilk who get on with it rather than just wasting their energy moaning and trying find fault in every single thing they read in the papers or internet. Good luck mate.

Appreciate the comments mush. That is exactly the attitude to have. Crack on and power through. Using the time off to rebuild structures and processes whilst all of the staff are furloughed and Rishi is paying their wages, then come out the other end stronger.

So you're saying that all of the financial packages to keep people in jobs is a bad thing and he should have just left millions to fall out of work with no prospect of finding new employment for a decade, yes? Just want to make sure I've understood you properly, Mr First Class commuter.

The government are paying the wages of 60% of the countries workforce at the moment in this enforced vision of the socialist utopia he craves for. I think the penny might of dropped that it may cost him money to sustain this.

Let me get this right, the country is having an economic crisis so the Government is trying to help struggling businesses with cheap loans, and you come along and apply for 50k loans that you say you don't really need them.

There will be a few coming out of this pandemic with their own nests feathered from the government schemes. I wish these people misfortune and hope they can sleep at nights. Shame on them.

The bank is lending the money not the government , if his company goes under the government guarantees the loan , so if his company does go under he needed the money to try and stay afloat. If it does not the bank gets the money back and his company keeps some people of the dole line. What is wrong with that ?

Absolutely. It won't cost you a penny. Why shouldn't I use this to expand the BUSINESS and create more jobs for the local economy? Are you suggesting that's a bad thing? There is a reason it's called a Bounce Back loan and that there's no financial criteria. They want BUSINESSES to use it to come back stronger. [Post edited 6 May 2020 8:26]

Have you ever owned a BUSINESS? As an example, I am losing almost £10k a month on lease, bills and BUSINESS rates that still have to be paid every month that we're not trading ( likely to be 3 months ) - I will never get that money back. Not to mention obviously the revenue that I am losing during that time ( meaning I won't get paid at all whilst we aren't trading ) . BUSINESS isn't as simple as you make out mush. The people who I wish bad on are the people pushing up prices of PPE and Sanitiser etc and exploiting the crisis. [Post edited 6 May 2020 8:34]

That makes no sense,he’s just said he doesn’t need the loans(which is not a very clever move on a message board when he’s in the process of applying for them)that money is not there for anyone who doesn’t need them. Really helping the Country that.

Are you going to go and tell tales to the bank and say a nasty man on the internet doesn't need his loan ( here's a thought... maybe my BANK can see exactly how much money is in my BANK to determine whether I needed it or not so if there was any financial criteria, they would know ) ? It's the banks giving out the loans not the government and they are available to every single BUSINESS out there. Go back to sleep mush, you're getting all confused.

It makes no sense to you. It makes total sense to me if he uses the money to expand the business , employing more people ( saving the government money in the process ). It's not free money the bank will want it back. I really can't see what your issue is , can you explain ?

Exactly, the money isn't coming out of tax payers money, there's no financial criteria and the loans are available to every single Ltd company out there. Any good accountant will tell every BUSINESS to get one. There's no repayments for 12 months and you can pay it back any time between now and then with no early repayment charges. It's the banks money, not the governments. Having said that, some smaller companies will take the money, waste it, then liquidate as the no Personal Guarantee makes it open to scammers. Those are the people Grumps should be worried about ( if he genuinely wants to cry about it ) [Post edited 6 May 2020 8:54]

I am losing money each month, that's pretty obvious to anyone who has half a brain? It doesn't put the BUSINESS at risk as 60%+ of our annual revenue is in November and December so thankfully, we are in a natural quiet period and can swallow up the losses after a good Xmas 2019. You have never run a BUSINESS, have you?
