Just wondering, if the abuse directed at Cummings outside his family home became too much for him and he topped himself, would those abusing him see that as a victory?

Was him driving to his second home that bad, that it warranted pushing him to end his life?

The hysteria about a bloke isolating in his second home and going for a quick drive is so out of proportion to the 'crime' . He didn't rape anyone, or kill someone... he drove to his second home to isolate as he put his child first.

I am interested to see how far the activists on here want to see things go? I see on Twitter the vast majority of Labour activists fully support his family being hounded and abused outside his private home.

Again, I must live in a parallel universe then as the vast vast majority of my friendship group which consists of everything from Teachers ( ! ) , Tradesmen, BUSINESS owners through to NHS Intensive Care nurses all think it's a storm in a teacup and really aren't bothered about Cummings driving to Durham.

The only places I can find 'outrage' is on here, Twitter, Left Wing press and Piers Morgan.

Cummings job is untenable and he should go. He is also a bit of a creep, however don't think you can fool me in to thinking that you and the other lefty loonies are genuinely fuming at Cummings for any other reason than Brexit.

Brexit my big fat hairy ärse, in all the polls on this as many brexiteers want him gone as remainers.

Saint22 the First Class travelling man of the people.

Benny, you need to decide whether you're going to be the Labour Campaigner or the high flying tory boy executive. You can't be both when the mood takes you.

Which one are you?

No reasonable person would condone anyone being hounded by the media outside their house. It is a shame it has taken it to happen to one of yours before you have decided that it is not acceptable. Perhaps now give some thought to all of the other people this has happen to over the years. Give a thought to the vile and disgusting messages that someone like Dianne Abbott gets via social media and think what it must be like for her too. You won’t though because you don’t give a sh*t about anyone else, just like the people you come on everyday and bust a gut defending.

I am not defending anyone. I am saying that press and activists hurling abuse stood outside his private home that he shares with his autistic 4 year old child is not on.

Let's separate social media from camping outside someones private family home. They don't compare. His 4 year old can't see what's written on Social Media.

Morals? Taking a £15,000 flight for a 1 hour meeting which will be almost a years wage for some of the staff in your company?

If you have morals you'd fly economy and then ask your company distributes the saving across the lower paid staff.

You're not successful and you don't fly first class. Stop bullsh*tting then we might start taking your socialist 'man of the people' guff seriously.

You boast about flying First Class, to the point you posted a picture with the 'First Class' part of your ticket deliberately visible. So you spend £15,000 flying over for a single meeting, which equates to almost an annual wage of a receptionist.

You think that's good morals for a socialist 'spread the wealth' Labour activist do you? Or are you going to tell me the receptionist gets paid £50k and also flies first class?

I don't hide who I am mush, whereas you live in a fantasy world pretending you're a high flying tory executive who hates tories.

You seem so very concerned about a man who didn’t give a toss that his 4 year old autistic son might catch covid in a confined space on an illegal car journey?

Surely if someone tops themselves due to media pressure it doesn’t matter if that comes from social media or by media parked outside the house? Yes or no?

You really don’t have a problem about what Cummings and his wife did. Ok fair enough. How did they know that they wouldn’t break down on the way and put someone else at risk? How did they know that there would be no other circumstances when they might, on a very long journey, infect anyone else? The reason people are told to self isolated immediately is to keep the virus contained, yes? Cummings and his wife give different accounts of where he went and when. You ok with them lying in what is a very serious situation? The next time that a Labour member is hounded by the media, can we expect you to come on here for several days to express your outrage? Like many others of your ilk, your hypocrisy is mind blowing.

Allow me to break this down for you, you soppy old tart. Hopefully then, you'll calm down a bit:

Q) Surely if someone tops themselves due to media pressure it doesn’t matter if that comes from social media or by media parked outside the house? Yes or no?

A) So basically what you're saying is that some people trolled Diane Abbott on Twitter once, therefore Cummings should die?

_____

Q) How did they know that they wouldn’t break down on the way and put someone else at risk?

A) How many cars nowadays break down? Especially brand new Land Rovers? You know that's the reason no MOT's are required for 3 years and why the hard shoulders on Motorways are being replaced by working lanes?

_____

Q) How did they know that there would be no other circumstances when they might, on a very long journey, infect anyone else?

A) How? Leaning out of the sunroof and spitting at people? Getting out of the car to cuddle people? What other circumstances? What about the risk going to shops, Doctors, pharmacy etc?

_____

Considering I've said I don't give a toss about the FOUR Labour MP's who have blatantly disregarded Social Distancing rules, you can hardly call me a hypocrite. I am very consistent. I only mention the Labour MP's to highlight your agenda and hypocrisy.

My pal and his Mrs just popped round to my house for a beer. We sat in the garden 2 metres apart and sunk a couple of draught Moretti's. The government say it's fine to meet 1 other person outside, so I met my pal and my Mrs met his.

There's a common sense interpretation of lockdown rules. You know the government set these rules knowing some will obey, some will ignore and some will be intelligent enough to interpret them and apply some common sense?

You keep crying and moaning like a modern day Victor Meldrew if you want pal.

Boris Johnson, Dominic Cummings, Boris from TUI. All devoid of decency, humility, integrity, self awareness, empathy and understanding. Charmless bunch the lot of you and little wonder you spend so much of your time defending the indefensible. I've said on several occasions that I am not aligned to any single party and have voted Labour, Lib Dem AND Tory in the last 5 elections at one point.

I wanted Brexit and thought Corbyn was an absolute lunatic which is why I voted Conservative last time round.

If Brexit is all done and dusted and impossible to reverse at next election and Labour don't have a manifesto that could potentially compromise it then I may vote for Labour next time. I may ( and probably as a BUSINESS owner won't, but never say never )

Unlike you, I look at this pandemic without politicising it and simply look at facts.

It's going be at least decade before theres even a possibility Labour are electable. The party is completely run by Momentum which is a far left communist cult. The members are mostly Momentum, the MP's are mostly Momentum, the cabinet is Momentum. They've put in a puppet leader in Starmer, but he's completely controlled by Momentum.

Cummings has thicker skin than a Rhino, and I'm sure genuinely believes that he has been placed on this planet to supervise and control all us lesser beings including the Prime Minister. Certainly the idea of topping himself under whatever circumstances would never had entered his his calculating little brain. He loves it....the fact that he enters number 10 dressed like a drug dealer for all the world to see demonstrates that doesn't give a f*ck what anybody thinks..but actually chooses to wear a shirt for his questions in the garden shows us what a manipulative, arrogant piece of work he actually is.
However, it would come as no surprise if someone who had been locked down in a flat in a tower block for ten weeks with no garden and no second home and children not at school would likely be starting to get suicidal by now...

Do you think if you repeat it often enough, it will become true?

Or even that anyone will start to believe it?

More likely that they will conclude that you are a bot or pushing some crazy right wing agenda.

In six short months (and most dramatically in the last week) Boris has thrown away all the goodwill that he had at the time of the last election.

His opportunities to lie his way out of this, and also to rubbish the Labour leader are greatly diminished, and with four years to go and with a massive recession and possibly a chaotic Brexit to deal with, it's difficult to see it getting better for this govt any time soon.

The parallels with 1992/1997 are uncanny. Major won in April 1992 but events five months later in Sept 1992 with Black Wednesday and the UK exit from the ERM, left the taint of incompetence on that govt for the rest of its term, eventually leading to Labour's landslide victory in 1997.

Given your other political comments are well off the mark (the whole country being behind Johnson for example) we can take your usual statement of support with a pinch of salt. Starmer already looks like a Prime Minister in waiting next to the immature, waffling, blistering, ill-informed puppet that is Johnson. It hasn’t taken long before Johnson’s bubble burst. He was a thin ice through his handling of the pandemic so far, but his ridiculous support for the arrogant, over powerful Cummings has set him back even further. I bet that Starmer can’t believe his luck. All he has to do is sit back and watch Johnson bury himself.
