I think Romeu will be a huge miss, as he was at Fulham.
Without him and Vestergaard dictating play out of defence we are too pedestrian to hurt Liverpool even without any Cb's!!

I agree that Romeu has been one of our best players this season, but back in the summer we were bemoaning losing Hojbjerg and now one was suggesting that Romeu was the man to replace him, all im saying is give Diallo a chance | |

Yes, when we play the top teams, Romeu is as important for us as Wanyama used to be as you need a defensive midfielder who can get stuck into them and stop them in their tracks before they get anywhere near our penalty area. | |

To me he looked like the player he's been building up to in recent games. Sad to see him go off totally gutted. On the plus side, there's been a real show of team spirit and togetherness today. Wow, as my predictive powers are so bad, I'm going for a 1-2 Liverpool win. Apart from a little creakiness and the Frasier kicking, things have clicked pretty well with the mixed up squad selections. Slightly nervous that our smaller players are too easily brushed off the ball, and Mane, Firmino and Salah will make someone pay for that I think. Need another yellow for Thiago. |  |
