The Shed end holds just shy of 7000 seats. Do you think Saints will take the wlhole end.

Last time we took the whole of the Shed end didn't end too shabbily did it.

Not so sure about that. Man U knocked out this evening and we nearly beat them in the league. Liverpool, you wouldn't want them away either but Chelsea look something special this season. I think it's the worse draw we could have got. Only hope is that they don't play their first team, not sure if they did tonight against Villa?

That would be a lot of fans of fans to take, especially as we are playing them in the league 2 weeks or so before.

Chelsea changed 10 from the Spurs game Sunday, Villa changed 9.

Chelsea have 5 games between 16th-30th October, doubt our game will be that high on their priorities tbh, bigger fish to fry.

Good points. Greater chance of a win up there in the cup and we should have a bigger better following than we get in the premier league.

They also have a ridiculously big squad, 6 England internationals, lukakuat , Werner etc that side would do well in the premiership

No chance
Chelsea are the best team in the country right now and can field a full strength second eleven
Liverpool play the kids and united are hit and miss

They may well do, but still couldn't beat Aston Villa reserves in 90 minutes.

Why on Earth Dean Smith didn't field a decent side last night is what I can't fathom, the League Cup is the only realistic chance they have of winning something, now the battle ahead for them is to finish Top half.
Their best 11 may not have won last night, but they'd have had a fair chance

Chelsea cup tickets on sale next week. £25 a ticket with 3000 allocation. Probably about right, as I can't see us taking more than that on a Wednesday night, as it's still not quite the vital later rounds yet.

How many did we take to Spurs in the 4th round of the FA Cup last year? More than 3000 I thought? And Chelsea is a much easier trip.
Would’ve thought we could’ve taken 5000 as a lot of the non premier league lovers turn out for cup matches.

It's a difficult one, as we are playing Chelsea in the league so many going tomorrow probably won't buy tickets again for the same ground two weeks later. The choice also was probably either take 3000 or the whole end 7500, due to segregation issues. Spurs was a new ground for many too, so we may well have taken more, didn't we take 6000? Can't remember but would we take 7500 to Chelsea for the 4th round? I doubt it (could be wrong, who knows) so the club have decided on 3000, which I understand if the option was that or 7500. Ideally, we could have taken say 5000 but don't think we had that choice.

Not sure, it says the away allocation in the league cup is 10% which would be just over 4000, so maybe 7500 wasn’t on the table.
Villa only got 3000 for their tie at Chelsea in the 3rd round, who knows.

Is the allocation different in the league cup to the FA cup? Didn't know that. Seem to remember away teams having the whole end at Chelsea but that must have been the fa cup. If the choices was as you say 3000 or 4000, we should have taken 4000 but if Villa only took 3000, you would have thought they would have taken 4000 so as you say who knows!

Ah, just read up on this. We are entitled to at least 10 per cent which is just over 4000 as Bicester just said. However, Chelsea can't segregate 4100 fans (whether this is true or not I don't know) so would have to give us the whole end if we chose this option. So from what I understand, it's 3000 or the whole end.

Fair enough then, the whole end would’ve been a stretch

If this was a quarter final or semi final, I reckon we could sell the whole end but probably not for the 4th round. Although it's a nice excuse for Chelsea isn't it! Happy to give us 10 per cent but due to safety issues, they have to give 15 per cent, knowing most clubs won't take it and just take 3000.
