Looks Like A Fairly Decent Crowd On Saturday on 12:08 - Oct 20 with 1182 views | Saintsforeverj | Looks like a decent crowd. Block 43 was sent back from Burnley and most of that block is sold too, so we will have most of the Northam end. The reason for such a big crowd against the PL least favourable games to watch? Simple, much cheaper tickets as this is one of only two Saints category D games. People can afford to go as tickets are £15 in many areas. And the result is a packed crowd.

And not only that, Burnley bring down such a small following, that there is no extra spice to the game, no banter and it affects the atmosphere. But, Nick take note, even so, many fans are still buying tickets because they are affordable. If they can sell this many, including for Burnley including block 43, imagine how many they would sell for the big games at this price or even just a little bit more like the Leeds game. If we want full stadiums, get the pricing right. [Post edited 20 Oct 2021 14:26]

It is not as simple as selling cheap tickets, the club would counter with the fact that they sell season tickets for an adult at pro rata of £20 a game, yet they don't sell them all

You are assuming that everyone can afford a season ticket or that they want to take on additional debt.

Exactly. More people can afford £15 as a one off, but not £500 plus as a one off.

Agreed Had the misfortune of the last two home games (last season N/A) and they were awful, horrible team! Such a bore to watch, plus the weather was miserable too Gonna skip this one and look forward to Villa and the money grabber

agreed but consumer loyalty is now woke and politically incorrect perhaps they should form Loyalty Rebellion and sit on the railway at Eastleigh

And around 50-60£ for Liverpool/Man.U/City/Chelsea? Burnley is a difficult sell tbh, many would close the curtains if they played in their front garden, so offering 15£ tickets makes sense. Can't really believe any S/T holders moaning that some may get in for less than they paid for a one off. What would you rather see 8000 empty seats or nearly 30000 Saints fans at SMS? We sold 27,000+ seats (more than I thought we would) for Leeds Saturday at 30£ or more, which was impressive really as not winning a game in the first 7, so 30£ a ticket looks about right. Eastleigh this weekend charge 15£(18 on the day) so for 90% of PL home games it would make no sense to charge 15£ per game.
