Stop me if you've heard this one before - Report on 08:52 - Dec 1 with 5355 views | toboboly | Think you've been kind on the ref. A number of "professional" fouls by Derby throughout the game and yet we were the only ones to see yellow. If the Dunne penalty appeal had been the other way round we all know it would have been given.

I like to think that's because we're an outstanding team with no individual stand outs. Nope, ive thought about it and that's just me making excuses. Stop me if you've heard this one before - Report on 09:57 - Dec 1 with 5115 views | gazza1 | Poor, poor goal to concede but I thought we basically controlled the match for most of the game......so much so that I had money on the R's when 1-0 down at half time at 5/1 to win. We were by far the better team and a very good team performance overall. Excellent win and very pleased for Gray netting an excellent winner.

Second half was 'proper' as you like to say Gaz. Rather like that Magilton match up there where you thought we'd win even though we were losing. Good team.
Stop me if you've heard this one before - Report on 10:21 - Dec 1 with 5030 views | PerthRs | Clive to have excelled yourself to the point that its going to be hard to match these reports you should consider writing a book with extracts from all these reports. In regard to this match I thought Barbet was very poor throughout the game and the injury to Wallace only seem to compound it even more, he keeps trying to play the difficult ball when the easy option is on. It was definitely a penalty for the pull back on Dunne and I think if you look at the replays of Chair’s header over the bar 71 min you will note he was pushed in the back as he went for the ball hence the stumble so I think that should have also been a penalty. Derby are going to be getting rid of any players that can bring in some cash I like the look of Festy Ebosele would be worth a cheeky bid.

Barbet saved us getting across to make an important interception, got a decent shot on target with his right foot, and though his passing wasn't quite as good as usual he still had 91 touches and made 81 passes both the most in the starting 11, with a not that shabby 76.5% completion when he is often attempting the long pass. All according to Sky. Not poor at all imo.

Good points. Also, Barbet is asked to do the trademark diags for Rangers to beat narrow teams like Derby, so if a few of his passes are off then that is only to be expected.

But that's Barbet. Some shocking almost incompetent passes then match saving tackles and Hoddleesque passes . Its what Barbet does

I think this is where the eye-ball test is needed though, to put the stats into context. If his long hopeful Barbet Diags (TM) don't come off, then it's not the end of the world. What we saw on Monday though, were passes into the middle of the park going astray, which put Derby in a dangerous position as we scrambled about trying to reorganise defensively. We saw that with Lawrence's goal, and there were a good few other similar passes he tried to make into the feet of Chair/Willock/Jojo that didn't come off and meant that we had to scramble to get back behind the ball. That was the issue, not a misplaced Barbet diag or two.
Stop me if you've heard this one before - Report on 13:22 - Dec 1 with 4388 views | LongsufferingR | Re the Dunne penalty shout, they showed another angle on TV where it looked to me like they both had big handfuls of each other's shirts, so I didn't get too annoyed about it at the time, and thankfully made no difference in the end anyway.
Stop me if you've heard this one before - Report on 13:27 - Dec 1 with 4377 views | dsw2509 | I still think the QPR goal I enjoyed the most was Sansom’s piledriver against Arsenal. OK, I was there for it and only saw the Gray goal on TV, but the atmosphere made that night extra special. I thought Willock’s goal was technically brilliant. But no Derby player was anywhere near him.

Stop me if you've heard this one before - Report on 16:07 - Dec 1 with 3976 views | M40R | Great report: almost as good as the second half. I know that Gray's strike was the best but as the cross came over for Willock I looked at his body position and groaned out loud expecting him to balloon it. Totally dis-orientated when it went in. How he kept it down...
