The likes of City and Liverpool can pay the sort of wages that mean their benches of full of players that will walk into our first team whereas our bench is more likely to be Championship level players. I would prefer that they were both replaced with better quality players but we aren’t going to overhaul the whole squad in one window. | | | |

This is one of the reasons why I get fed up with being hassled to renew my season ticket to get the “Loyalty” price way before the transfer window opens. I find it strange that we all do this without being given an idea of what we are potentially paying for, there is little or no comment from the club on what they are trying to do etc etc. My guess is that this lot were never going to spend any money on anyone that is any good, 32000 fans all know that JS & AM are not good enough and this is a kick in the teeth for those of us who wanted to see the back of them.
