I get that. It's still depressing that this is even being talked about.
I'll be less depressed when we get some more positive news about real club development.
For me, this summer is a pivotal one in terms of seeing whether the new owners are going to be any more ambitious than Gao. It's early days to draw any conclusions just yet, I know.

The new owners have to be given a chance to show what they are trying to do, we need to wipe the slate clean and wait and see first.

Ings is one of the best finishers in the Prem when he is on song. Why wouldn’t the club be interested in a quality player if the price and wages were right? Whether the club are seriously interested or just putting out feelers to see who is available and at what price, we shall find out in due course. I don’t think you would find too many complaints if he did come back and recreate his best form. Personally I think he will go elsewhere and expect the club are just checking the scene. |  | | |
