the amount of times I’ve wanted to do something along the lines of this to all the idiots I’ve had to deal with over the years getting up in my face and saying all sorts. As you wouldn’t see anywhere near as much of it if more refs did this

Yeah well kids of refs unfortunately get threatened all the flipping time and I’ve known a fair few to have even been assaulted, but thankfully never killed.
Although I say that but I’ve always wondered when that’ll change as it honestly is only a matter of time until you see a ref get killed by a player just over a correct decisions from some blooming game! But that’s exactly why things need to change and in a way it’s nice to see a ref giving some back for once
