I remember seeing Doherty, a QPR fan, playing at the Victorious Festival in Portsmouth.
As was fairly standard, his set over-ran.
He was asked to leave the stage and refused.
He was basically dragged off stage, and started singing OWTS to mass booing from the natives.
Always had a soft spot for him since then. |  |

I went to see him at the Joiners at the height of the press following him around everywhere. Paid £11 quid for the ticket and was offered a lot more for it outside.
He turned up ridiculously late, but sober. To the point that people wouldn’t have made trains or buses back home and ran way past the Joiners licence. Cracking gig to the fair though. |  | | |

I went to a gig of his at I think Shepherds Bush. December 2006. Might have been the Apollo?
To be frank I went to see the support act but decided to stay a little longer.
He was late, arrived on stage off his face on something, the first song he played, started as one song and ended as another. I heard one more and headed home.

Just watched it, he came across well obviously he still loves getting hammered but hopefully can stay off the hard stuff, a lovely frolic in the sea with Louis at the end. | |
