Another two weeks then. It isn't funny any more. Sack him and the recruitment team who bought a write-off for good money

This sounds like the type of injury that is very common for players coming back from long lay offs. Their body isn't ready for the stresses that a PL game demands and it takes a while to build up to that level. For someone who was out as long as he was, the sensible thing would have been to give him game time in the U21s before putting him in the first team. He'll be stronger the next time he's ready but it would still make sense to put him in the U21s first.

Not sure why we all get so worked up about Ross Stewart.
Best we write him off as bad business & concentrate on the players that will possibly be fit & available to help us.
Even a fully fit Ross Stewart will not cut it in Premier Lge, he's only ever scored goals in lower leagues.
We'd be better off giving Tall Paul a fair crack., he's everything we lack, he's big, he's strong & he's a proven goal scorer albeit not in Premier lge, but the goals he has scored were in tougher leagues than the leagues than RS scored in.
We'll never know if he can do it in Premier league unless he's given a decent amount of game time, all he's had to date is a few odd minutes.

My mate who’s a Mackem couldn’t believe his luck when we paid money for him. Did admit he is a decent player ‘when not on the injury table’……

Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......
Poll: Where do we think Dibling will be plying his trade next (2025 / 2026) season??
