What was that trouble with Spurs fans about? on 11:20 - Mar 18 with 2061 views | SaintNick | There are still elements around at every club, if you go to non league clubs a lot of them have little junior stone island upped firms aged between 13-18, Basingstoke & Poole are two fairly local clubs who have this sort of element. The sentences dished out to the Saints & Spurs fans was very excessive and designed to quash this sort of thing. I am not condoning what happened, but it was a little fracas outside a pub, if you do it at football you get 1-2 years in prison, if you do it on a saturday night not involving football, you don't got to prison. A little bit like the sentenced handed out after the recent demonstrations in Southport etc , they are determined to make an example of shows of public unrest.

They made an example of people with overly harsh sentences because of what had been going on with us for a while. The stuff with Spurs had been building up over a few seasons and this was one of many "moments" rather than a one off. Not condoning nor judging, and i know one of the people involved, but I do think the sentences were out of proportion for the event

Yes I saw the video, just throwing chairs at each other which is wrong of course but very heavy sentences. I also know one of the guys involved, looks like it happened next to Oxford street .

What was that trouble with Spurs fans about? on 20:43 - Mar 19 with 1152 views | SonicBoom | Apparently the spurs ringleader is well known and has been at it for years. He also ran off once the party started too. What surprised me was this was pre-arranged. I didn't think we had a firm as such anymore. I remember saints 'yoof' a few years ago tried were trying to make a name for themselves but I thought it had all fizzled out.

What is it about throwing chairs? Do they like standing that much? | | | | Login to get fewer ads
What was that trouble with Spurs fans about? on 20:57 - Mar 19 with 1128 views | grumpy | There was The Warrens years ago but Saints have never had the numbers to create a firm since. There was some individuals back in the Dell Days that you would be wise not to mess with, but that was a very long time ago. Its all nonsense anyway.

Saints had/have a very active organised element and have done since about 2017/18. It's a pretty sizeable group too and has links to Roma's ultras and steaua bucharest too (hence why you sometimes see them or their flags at our games). The thing is most people won't see it or even know about it so it seems like it's not there. Like others have said it's definitely not my thing and i don't understand it but we do have a sizeable group
