My cousin has almost talked me into attending the HWFC night tomorrow, so I may well drive there for it, despite the tickets being a little steep.

MLT and Beattie are doing one of these evenings in Christchurch in the next week or so, just up the road from where I work, and I can't be arsed to go.
I went to a MLT dinner and Q & A night a few years ago in Poole.
Adam Blackmore was also there and they brought that huge keeper from Sutton out who used to play for Saints.
I was seriously disappointed.
Every other word that MLT said was fcuk.
I use industrial language as much as the next man, but he was sounding like Bernard Manning, and I thought he was a lot more intelligent than that. |  |

I hear you! That's another reason for not going - last time I saw him play football was against Arsenal in the last match at the Dell. THAT is my lasting memory. I don't want to watch him on a pitch now, nor hear random views and swearing. | |
