1. The attendance was poor I would say no more than 25,000 in the ground, if you take into account 3,000 Palace fans then I think around 4-5,000 season ticket holders gave it a miss.

There was a medical issue near me in the first half, the response by the stewards was non existent, it seems there are two many 18-21 year olds with no training in many parts of the ground and they haven't a clue what to do when something happens, I am sure that there are some very good stewards, but not where I was last night.

Agree that Fernandes is a very decent player for his young age. He's gonna be wanted by several clubs unfortunately which is a real shame for Saints and whichever manager will be trying to build a decent squad for next season. |  |

1) The stadium looked half empty, in the stadium. Not surprised at all.
2) Correct, the stewards are hopeless. When the poor guy fell and died at a game, was it last season, people in high places said they would investigate and do training etc. Nothing has changed. Again, that's how badly we are run from the top.
3) We should just about beat 11 points.
4) Fernandes is excellent. I would add that I also thought Downes was great alongside him. Downes did all the dirty stuff, was really strong, and this left Fernandes free to get forward.
5) Manning was good, but so was Stephens and Bednerak. Tall Paul is a real presence up front. He's not the most talented, he's clumsy but he's the best we have got and gives us someone to aim for. |  |
