What happened to Albert Groenbaek 20:33 - Apr 14 with 1517 views | GRIM | We signed Albert Groenbaek in January on loan. He's only played a few minutes whats the problem with him. Is he injured or was he just another rubbish signing.

That's another question. Who Sport Republic really are? Secret members of the Pompey development brigade. Members of a secret group- how we can torture and tease the community. Associates of Jeremy Beadle. Honestly, another waste of money. I hoped they would have learnt when they bought Carillo in January a couple of years ago. These owners really are hopeless. I saw fans covering their faces with their hoodies and scarves after the game Saturday because they were red in the face and so embarrassed. [Post edited 14 Apr 21:17]

Carrillo arrived in January 2018, that was 7 years ago, to be exact 4 years before Sport Republic even arrived at the club, if we are going to accuse them of something, lets be accurate.

What happened to Albert Groenbaek on 09:40 - Apr 15 with 1002 views | PatfromPoole | Gronbaek looks too slow for the Prem. But he might be alright next season if we keep him beyond the loan period. Wasn't it about £10 million to buy him outright though? We only seem to get duds from Rennes, whereas PSG's best player against Villa last week came from there.....

It is hard to evaluate Gronbaek, he is a central midfield player, yet he has never been played in that position for Saints. His two starts came away from home in the Premier League, 70 minutes in the win at Ipswich and 64 mins at Liverpool in what was a solid display in this seasons relative terms. The only glimpses we have seen him at St Mary's were 2 minutes against Brighton with the game already lost at 4-0, not many Saints fans left in the ground to see that cameo role and 7 minutes against Wolves. Oh and 4 minutes against Burnley in the FA Cup, it is hard to see why the club bought him if Juric didn't want him

Have we actually bought him? I thought it was a loan with an option to buy for £10 million (?)…..

Don't panic, it's a loan. But we'll never know if he's better than what we have because he's not been given enough game time. He wouldn't want to stay after what he's experienced here.
