Our on loan forward Rento Takaoka scored a brace to help loan club Valenciennes secure their first win of the 2025/26 season. Takaoka scored twice in five minutes as Sport Republic's Valenciennes beat Le Puy 2-1 on Friday evening.

About time we got something of equal positivity back in our direction - such as the half decent player they had a Goztepe last season who was attracting interest from some half decent clubs in Europe.
