This business of keeping the big clubs apart is total nonsense. The fact is at these early stages they always played weakened sides as they have little interest in this cup. So, why do they or the FA care if they get knocked out? It is simply a very weak cover story/rationale to save face at HQ. I doubt any true football fan cannot see past the clear bias of wanting the top clubs in the final for maximum revenue. |  | | |
