So much for Slot praising him for his professionalism! What an entitled twerp!

People allowing their perceived 'position' to inflate them - it's the way of the world, of course. With an attitude like that, he'll do just great in the Saudi league.

Poll: What do you expect from the Charlton game?

Liverpool FC In the news, that's a shock.

Millionaire footballer In the news talking shit, that's a shock.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Exactly to both posts. Last time he spoke to the media was when he wanted his new contract. Since then, nothing. Where was his voice during his teams slump. Showing he is one of the leaders of the dressing room. He has done good things for them but he is playing badly. They are leaking goals. He doesn't track back and isn't doing what he is paid to do. Was shit most of the second half of last season. Liverpool should get rid to Saudi. They will get a fortune for him and he can be centre of attention in another league

Blimey.

Harsh criticism.

If we had a player, who has scored 250 goals for our club, and we were calling him sh*t second half of last season, a season when he scored 29 goals and we won the league, sorry that point is seriously not correct.

Could cope with one of our players being that sh*t.

Even though, he has not been on form, still got 5 goals so far, and none of the other new attackers has as yet done much.

He is a top player, who wants to contribute, and he is frustrated, probably unwise to comment, and Slot probably does want to win his way with his own team.

Would wonder how we would react to a player kicking off, with this record at the club.

He wants to win, play and score goals. And its both as if its not his team are performing without him.

Think, we might be a little less critical than above !!!

"Walking in a Mackie Wonderland"
Poll: QPR - Prediction for finishing position 2025/2026 Season

"I don't have to fight every day for my position because I earn it. I earned my position."

There is the problem.
You're only as good as your last game. No one is entitled to a free pass. He earns in a week what any average person earns in a decade. Yes he is human and has emotions like any one else but please, he's done this before when a new contract was due. Say thank you very much, cut him loose and make some money back. No player is bigger than a club despite any achievements.

Best thing though is that Liverpool are starting to implode. After spending nigh on half a billion obscene pounds on a few players and unsettling Isak to the extent that he all but went on strike it is a pleasure to watch them lose or struggle to beat promoted teams.

Poll: Where will Clive put QPR in his new season preview

It's great. It's almost worth listening to Talksport on a Monday just to hear them phone in and whine.

I particularly like them turning on Slot after all those years of "Liverpool don't sack their managers" and other bullshit. They're just like any other big club. Just more entitled and even less likeable.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

The funniest thing is seeing compilations of their online 'content providers' when they don't win a game. It's like a Victorian freak show.

Public drama aside, it is weird that he's not playing because he's their best route out of it.

Monday will be the full, Majestic Whine Warehouse….suits the accent.

Mix any six reds and get a discount on your next permed mullet.

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

He made Chel*** look like a bunch of gurning wànkers for offloading him to Roma so I'm team Mo on that issue.

They're haven't been playing well, even when they were winning earlier in the season. He wasn't playing well. He doesn't offer much to the team, when off form; He doesn't track back, he was trying too much on his own and mostly wasting opportunities.

In their current malaise, they need everyone working together, as a team.

Come on, fantastic player! Has struggled more than most after Jota’s tragic accident, and seems to suffer when reminded after 20 minutes, heard they were close. Sad it ends like this.

In the Hall of Fame with de Bruyne. And Tommy Langley.

After last season’s false start, maybe Slot is Clough to Klopp’s Revie after all.

You can't live on past glories. It's all about today, the here and now. Salah is 33 now and like most athletes, is slowing down. His time at Liverpool would seem to be up. He should go to SA and earn his untold millions while he can.

If he's genuinely struggling, surely he should be mature enough to go the mamager and have that conversation. Together, they could then work out an active support programme that would, ironically, probably include a spell away from the first team whilst he deals with his grief.

Sorry, but like the majority on this thread, I don't buy in to this cult of indulging this player, who is clearly having a two year old's temper tantrum and should be treated as such until he is grown up enough to apologise to the manager and his teammates.

Don’t wish to sound cruel but how long are they going to keep trotting out Jota’s death to explain their poor form? Sure, there was a lot of grief several months ago but is that really a major factor now ? I’m enjoying their misery anyway. Entitled bunch.

Didn’t stop them the first 5 games or so
Slot has wasted his transfer budget on 2 crap full backs and a German attacking midfielder when he already had Harvey Barnes who is the same age and better
Selling Diaz was a huge mistake also
As for salah it’s a bit like the Ozil dilemma Arsenal had a while back, do you sell and risk the wrath of the fan base or give them a huge contract, the problem he has the contract but not the hunger

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore
