Just about every team in the championship, except the top six, make it hard for themselves. Supporters only see satisfied if their teams win by two or three goals every game which is not going to happen
Since our new manager/coach came in we are playing much better and creating more opportunities and goals. Apart fron his first match, Derby, we have have been beating teams at home. Unlucky to draw at home to Birmingham which was probably our best game of the season. The fact we hit the frame of the goal three times shows Unlucky we were.

Yep. Put in consistently good performances and the results will come. People wildly overestimate the quality of squad you need to make a playoff challenge in this division.
Millwall and Preston are currently in the top six. Based on what people saw in our games against them, do they have visibility better squads than us? I wouldn't say so. They're playing well and getting the results, but man for man I'd put our best 15/20 players against theirs.
What they are doing is playing well enough to get something out of most games. Playing to the best of the ability that they have. Based on what I've seen so far Matos appears to get that. Even in most of the games we've lost we could easily have got something. |  |
