It pains me to say it but this is the one game I would play Jack Stephens, I’d also definitely play Oriol Romeu. The older players have a vital role in keeping the young-uns feet on the ground (literally), many will have never played in such a hostile atmosphere with the mouthy fans so close to the players. This is a day for older level heads to lead and instruct the boys, what we don’t want is any hotheads earning unwanted yellows or god forbid sending offs. | |

I can assure you that the South Wales Derby travel restrictions are exactly the same; a 40 mile journey down the M4 takes hours on a slow moving convoy of 30 plus coaches with no toilets on board and no stops until they reach a rendezvous point where the coaches are held until being released two to three coaches at a time to journey to the ground, the fans are then taken straight into the away end. I can’t see these restrictions being removed because they ensure fans safety. [Post edited 25 Jan 11:39]
