Hopefully, this will be the last match report where you have to dance on the head of a pin, defending Ralph.

But I have to say this was a corker...

"...sometimes the players have to take the blame and this was one of those games..." - as if you have ever laid any blame at Ralph's door in the last 4 years!

"for the first time I felt that perhaps Ralph's time at the club maybe coming to an end soon...Not because of this game, but I just think the anti Ralph Hasenhuttl factions have finally turned the crowd..." You've finally smelt the coffee but still it's the crowd's fault...sorry, the 'factions' that have turned the crowd...

"Sometimes our supporters seem to take against a manager and for some reason some fans have decided they don't like Ralph Hasenhuttl..." - ??for some reason'?? - yes it's quite extraordinary how the fans could have got fed up of him when he's been doing so well.

"I am not blaming the fans for this, everyone has a right to their opinion, the blame is with the manager and the players, the failure to sign another striker in the summer is coming home to roost, that wasn't Hasenhuttl's fault, he wasn't given the tools to work with, it is hard to see whether any other manager would have done much better in these circumstances."

Not blaming the fans, when all you do is blame the fans.

Nothing ever Ralph's fault.

As far as Nick is concerned you mean nothing is ever the club's fault.

"Playing Devil's Advocate since 15th January 2014"

Probably the worst match report yet in a long line of terrible match reports, as the post above shows his record since March is horrific, probably worse than Branfoot who you certainly didn’t give much rope

Poll: Who is the biggest c*nt?

Its the manager who picks the team, the manager who is meant to coach the players and the manager who decides the tactics.

I have not met one Saints fans who would have picked Wallcott.

Perhaps if Nicks Mate Ralph had picked the team Nick wanted in his pre match preview

(I suspect we may go for 3 at the back, Bella-Kotchap, Caleta-Car & Salisu is a strong line up, that would see two wing backs, perhaps Romain Perraud & Ainsley Maitland-Niles in this role, with a central trio of Lavia, JWP and Joe Aribo, with a striking duo of Che Adams and for my money playing Adam Armstong alongside him in a striking role)

We may not have lost , we may have been sitting further up the table and his Mate would not have been sacked.

Still its the fans fault again according to Nick.

The Newcastle match summed up much of what is going to see us relegated unless the new manager can bring the team together.

1. Our "support" was quiet and easily out sung by the travelling fans. Yes I agree that fans should support the team and seek to raise them, but months of poor form are hardly incentive.

2. Starting with yet another different line up (have we actually played three games with the same team consecutively in RH's time?) and different strategy.

3. Starting with players in the wrong place. Larios at right back? A left footed youngster on the wrong side against a team in the top six? Who thought that would go well?

4. Has RH watched any of the goals scored against Newcastle? If so why did he think that Walcott who has not played regularly would have the the sharpness or tactical awareness to exploit the gaps?

5. Why play Walcott at all? He was a liability.

6. Lavia is a good player - will be a very good player. But to expose him to a team flowing forward and give him no support is a recipe to destroy his confidnce.

7. In Almiron Newcastle have the form player in the league. He plays on the right and cuts infield - EVERY TIME. Why then was Daillo not playing between Perraud and Salisu to stop exactly that. Why not do that for an hour or 70 minutes and then chase the game with an attacking sub?

8. Finally, when we play well or win, we see RH on the field celebrating. When we play poorly and lose - he's nowhere to be seen. That is not leadership but cowardice. Why leave his players, playing to his plan, to say thank you to the fans, whilst he scuttles into the dry and tells the press it's not his fault?

He had to go.
