Championship here we come. Can't defend, can't pass, can't score.

Difficult to pick our best player today so I won't cos there weren't any. Worst player by a mile as usual was Ward Prowse, but he is undroppable so we're relegated.

What the hell has happened to our club

When faced with a well organised team that PRESSES we have no idea how to play. And today we were made to look positively…average. I couldn’t believe the possession stats. Nathan Jones is clearly a disaster. After several weeks in charge he has managed to instil in the players…ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, unless you count the ability to give the ball away more and defend worse than earlier in the season .
For the first time I now cannot see us going anywhere but south. The Championship is a given. The question now is will we even be able to stay there?

Oh dear oh dear! Better hope that the expression “it is always darkest before dawn” applies in our case. Aside from a few cameos from Edozie, absolutely nothing to enthuse about here. Brighton were very good indeed today, but the gulf between their performance and ours is worrisome. We have time (and the January window?) still on our side, but we are in a difficult place right now.

In 2 years we will be playing Portsmouth. And they won't get promoted!!!
That's the worst Saints performance I've seen in 65 years of watching. And worse, what happens when the new manager bounce wears off? In 50 days and 3 matches we've gone backwards.
B&HA looked really good!
2 criticisms: Whenever Saints attacked, Lewis Dunk goes down!
Their goalkeeper had to be, at least, yellow carded for his assault on CheA. Nothing to do with whether the whistle had gone or not, you can't chop down then shove another player. The ref in that instance is saying he could have punched CheA and not been carded.
Thank goodness for Lyanco, the only Saint showing some fight. And skill. If only JWP had half the skill.
All I can say is Luton must be pleased to get a new manager in

Very depressing, we look worse than under Ralph. No organisation, no strength in midfield with no Romeu, and no threat up front....and what experienced striker will want to come to the bottom club?

We look much worse than under Ralph. NJ has had weeks to work with the squad but no-one seemed to know what they were doing. You could see the players were confused. I was willing to write off the Lincoln performance as rustiness, but today can't be excused

My oh my we are in deep dodah if this is what we have to look out for.No idea we’re we go from here other than there
has to be some people that are just not good enough. One for sure is Diallo always passes to the opposition more than our own players.Totally disappointing result and we seem like nothing has really changed from the the previous games.

I don't think I've seen so many misplaced passses from any other Premier League team this season, not even ours. It's the sort of thing you might see in a poor lower league team but not at this level. There was a shocking lack of team play. It was as if our players were strangers to each other, who didn't have a clue where the others were going to be or what they were going to do.

I don’t think you would have pi8cked this starting 11. On seeing the team news you could have out money on them loosing. What’s he been looking at in the 6 weeks he had with the players. If he carries on like this we will soon be playing Pompey in the first division

Blimey that was as bad as it gets! You could easily make a case for dropping every player except Edozie for next week. Obviously we can't do that, but something has to change or we will be cut adrift. I think Bazunu has to be left out for his own good, i also fear the two cb's are so lacking in positional sense that we will continue to concede easy goals. Lyanco can not be faulted for effort but to me is way out of his depth [ Yoshida was sold for being inconsistant], he charges into reckless challenges that leave him miles out of position. Salisu has also gone miles back from where he was. The full backs are ok, JWP is playing very poorly, but we have no one else. Diallo, A Armstrong, Djenepo simply arn't good enough, not at all convinced by Aribo either. Of the rest we have to try and cobble a team together until the injured players return and hopefully some new recruits arrive?
All in all it's not looking very encouraging, but fingers crossed we can turn things around. Staying up on goal difference would be seen as success right now.
Up the SAINTS!!!

If Djenepo, Diallo & Lyanco are part of our best starting eleven, then we are indeed in trouble!
Brighton played very well and their movement was excellent but we contributed to that excellence with our totally inept performance!
