Any of you here self employed tradesmen?
Plumber? Painter? Chippy?

Can I ask? How busy are you now?

Also, why are you so appalling at following up on your social media platforms?

COVID predictions

take politics out of it.

Will there be a 2nd wave? You could argue the next wave (if any) will be the 3rd

will there be a vaccine that works? May work in the short term

will we social distance long term? Obviously not

US Ladies Football Team lose legal challenge
at 14:07 9 May 2020

The US ladies side lost out in their legal challenge to be paid equally as their male counterparts. Obviously, the ladies side are challenging the ruling...

I think (over here anyway), woman's footy gets far more national coverage than the product deserves. But good luck to them..

The Greatest Generation

I have been watching this the last few nights and what a remarkable bunch of people.

I feel embarrassed that as a nation, we have to be told about the wonderful sacrifice we are making - for just staying at home and watching telly/making tik toks et al, whilst almost the entire country is being paid to do so.

I will feel extremely sad when the last serviceman/woman from WW2 passes.
Heroes - the lot of them!

SFC Accounts - some detail from the Swiss Ramble
at 08:13 29 Apr 2020

I believe the thread is still being updated (as of 8.10am)...

Anyone who is interested in this able to summarise?

This part jumps out at me!!!

Worth noting that #SaintsFC also owe £90m transfer fees (stage payments), of which £47m is due in less than a year. There is £26m owed by other clubs, so net payable is £64m. In addition, £26m contingent liabilities potentially payable, mainly dependent on player appearances.

Covid Testing
at 17:40 1 Apr 2020

I see the latest hot topic is covid testing, mainly for NHS staff

I may be missing something, what is the point in blanket testing?as you could get a 'negative' on a test but die with the virus 14 or so days later??

The test to see if you have had it/immune is the winner, surely?

2 weeks
at 22:29 30 Mar 2020

Seems to be the catchphrase at the moment.

We heard that we were only 2 weeks behind Italy and Spain. Surely, we would be seeing 400-500 a day tragically losing their lives by now?

On another point, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ in 2 weeks. FFS
