Watching ifollow abroad... help!
at 11:15 18 Sep 2021

I'm in Greece on holiday. I can't find the video pass option on ifollow, only audio.

I assumed ifollow would detect that I'm not at home and would give me the video option, but it hasn't, can anyone offer any help?

Watching ifollow abroad
at 11:24 18 Aug 2021

Has anyone ever watched Dale on ifollow whilst on holiday?

I'll be in Greece for the Oldham game unfortunately. I've been trying to find out if it's possible to buy the live stream but I can't find the info.

FAO Twitter using Daleys
at 12:37 10 May 2012

When we all started to use the #RAFC hashtag, we were the only ones using it but in recent months we're being swamped with Belgian tweets and tweets from some Welsh Sunday league and an amateur team somewhere. These days you have to rake through a bunch of belgian stuff to find the odd Dale related tweet. If like me you have a permanent search set up to catch #RAFC tagged tweets then I'm guessing you find this as frustrating as I do.

I think we have to find our own unique hashtag that isn't likely to be highjacked and used by any other group with the initials RAFC. I suggest #DALEAFC.

Anyone else agree, or have any suggestions, or do you think it should be left alone leaving us to trawl through the crap we don't want to read?

Team GB kits
at 15:15 22 Mar 2012

I really like the Olympic Team GB kits, especially the football and track versions. Surprisingly many people dont. I'll probably buy the football shirt. I wish Dale could use Adidas stuff, the quality is always excellent.

How close are we to buying pitch covers?
at 15:15 16 Feb 2012

Because if we can get a modern artificial pitch we'll (almost) never have to postpone again. I know this has been discussed on here before but it's looking likely that they'll be permitted soon.

... In the pie department, those balti pies are fooking gorgeous! Not sure I like them coming in heat proof bags though, just stick a fork in the top.

Rochdale Fans Divided
at 12:43 6 Nov 2011

I'm going on a weeks holiday so I won't be at Spotland until at least Brentford on 26th. If I'm honest I'm really happy about that. I hope I've seen the last of Eyre and Bunn at Spotland.

My big concern at the moment is having to see fans squaring up to each other like we saw during the Simpson and Barrow eras, and to a lesser extent, Parkins 2nd stint. It only takes a group in the Pearl St end to start Eyre Out chants and you can almost garuantee there will be a flashpoint. The only person that can nip this sort of thing in the bud will be CD and the board, I really hope there are some behind the scenes conference calls happening today, if this festers we will be down by Christmas.

Eyre Out!

Disjointed, and thats being kind.
at 18:18 29 Oct 2011

Awful formation. Completely disjointed and unbalanced. 1 winger in Adams creating openings and coming forward and getting good crosses in, on the other side Tutte sitting deep, not attempting to get down the byline and always looking to cut inside.

I lost count of the great crosses being put in by Adams, and others only to hang invitingly on the back stick with nobody to get on the end of. If we employed a second winger there would have been more chance of somebody getting into a decent position on the back post to get a touch on the crosses.

Too many square pegs in round holes, Centre halfs who seem shot on confidence and lacking in ability, we might as well have had two fence posts at centre half for all the good they did when it mattered. Kean had no chance with the second as their lads had far too much time and space to finish.

As for Kean,I panic everytime he gets the ball at his feet, he's a liability.

Bottom line, we're fooked. Something drastic has to change and the buck stops firmly at the feet of Steve Eyre.

I don't like this City love in.
at 02:46 14 Aug 2011

We are DALE, end of.

Original post was a bit vague hence the edit.

Thanks for your money Citeh fans but I'm worried about our club identity. Far too many of our fans already are also "united fans that have a soft spot for Dale" or "Citeh fans that have a soft spot for Dale" or even worse, Dale fans that also "support" United or Citeh,

We have an ageing hardcore fanbase. In this day an age, rather than embrace the United and City love in, maybe it shoud be shunned. We Have to create a generation of pure DALE fans, why do so many of our fans have to associate with one of the big clubs as a safety net for their emotions?

Whoever the manager or players are, fook United, fook City, just be proud to be Dale FFS.

Supporters team
at 20:39 9 Jul 2011

Does anyone know if the supporters team are playing this coming season? I don't want to play cos I'm crap and too old but my 16 year old boy would love to turn out for you. He's pretty good, quite tricky and gets stuck in. Not really sure of his best position but IMHO he'd be best in the middle, but he'd do well anywhere really.

If nobody from the ST is on here, can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

Robbie Savage
at 14:17 8 Jun 2011

I'm amazed at how gullible some people are. Robbie savage tweeted yesterday:

#Rochdale to name # @RobbieSavage8 as player manager by Saturday- confirmed.

People have actually been tweeting him to ask if its true, even some local journalists have tried to get a comment from him, I'm surprised he hasn't got a price on oddschecker yet. In his own words to someone when pressed on it, "I just wanted to watch the bullshit rumour mill in action". Just goes to prove that some people will believe anything!
