Stuart Armstrong Tests Positive
at 16:07 7 Oct 2020

Stuart Armstrong, Kieran Tierney and Ryan Christie will all miss Scotland's Euro 2020 play-off semi-final against Israel on Thursday after the former tested positive for Covid-19.

Armstrong was the only member of the squad to return a positive test.

But Arsenal defender Tierney and Celtic attacker Christie must self-isolate for 14 days from Tuesday after being identified as close contacts.

They will also miss Nations League ties with Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Manager Steve Clarke also revealed that defenders Scott McKenna and Liam Palmer and attacker Oliver Burke will be absent for all three matches through injury.

Six now out - so who makes your Scotland XI?
Remembering Scotland's last play-off

Furthermore, Christie will be unavailable for Celtic's Old Firm meeting with Rangers on 17 October, while Tierney will miss Arsenal's visit to Manchester City the same day.

Southampton midfielder Armstrong tested negative after arriving at the Scotland camp on Monday.

However, a subsequent Uefa test came back positive, meaning he must self-isolate for 10 days from Tuesday.

Lazio are the latest club to be interested in signing him.

Apparently they are close to agreeing a loan deal.

Surprised we don't just offload him on the cheap to any of the clubs he claimed were queuing up for his services this window.

Doubt anyone will be in for Carillo, although there was a rumour over the summer, that he would be off to Argentina.

I wonder if Leicester will be back in for Vestergaard,as they are after a defender.

Still need to offload / loan some more of the fringe though. A keeper, Slattery, Sims, McQueen etc

Bale
at 09:29 20 Sep 2020

With the total media w@nkfest and hype that has happened so far and is going to continue today and until he finally plays for Spurs, what really gets me is that he has returned to the UK from Spain. Therefore he needs to self-isolate for 2 weeks, yet he has been filmed at the training ground, had numerous photo shoots and interviews etc.
Our signing from the Spanish league had to quarantine for 2 weeks, yet Bale is somehow exempt !!

Just been announced that he has left the club - by mutual consent

Once touted as the next Arsenal and indeed England manager. What next for him ?

Unbelievably heard on the radio earlier, that he is the current 'favourite' to take over the helm at Watford !!

How bizarre when you consider they don't know what league they will be in next year, he is probably still under contract at Saint Etienne and his record as managing in the Prem is somewhat of differing opinion.

Wouldn't really say that Watford was his fit, but let's see.

Hojbjerg To Everton ?
at 11:40 17 Jul 2020

Taken from our match report on the BBC Website......

They may soon lose midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, however. News broke during the match that Everton have opened talks with Southampton for the Denmark international - who actually filled in at right-back to good effect in the first half.

Could be a load of agent talk rubbish again - especially as the last statement is an absolute joke, but as it is from the BBC and not the Sun or a 'TeamTalk' type website, it may have some truth behind it !!

If he does go there and I can't see why they would want him, where does that leave us with regards to Spurs and KWP ?
My Cousin said we were apparently playing hardball with Spurs, whatever that means and we know they have no money, so perhaps they have given up or we weren't happy with their demands / negotiations ?
Or maybe it is an agent tactic to get Spurs to bid etc ?

Anything on that Celtic midfielder as a replacement ? I know FF said that he wanted to try to win his place back at Saints next season, so that would mean him not loaning or transferring to Celtic, so perhaps we have lost interest because of that ?
