Yes and they were also excellent with the 2 idiots kicking off in the main stand during the game. |

Stewarding seems keen this year. I walked in early with my season card at about 14:20 on my own in shorts and t-shirt an no bag and they gave me a full pat down even my bare legs which was a bit odd. Maybe I just look really dodgy. |

In League 2 who knows? It's like rolling a dice you never quite know what you're going to get with the officials 🤣 |

If you noticed they did a number on Rodney and 3 players were on him as soon as a ball went to him. He still did his best to hold it up but a first time lay off of some kind to some one would have been the better option. |

We were brilliant again in that first half could a should a been 3 up at half time (We've said that quite a bit before!). But the performance was there and gives us some hope. Not surprisingly we couldn't keep that sort of energy up for 90 minutes on a day like today but even if you slow down you need to keep the quality up and there were too many fouls and silly wayward passes in that second half that just made the job harder for ourselves. Even then I felt we deserved a point and conceding at the end was bitterly disappointing. Needed more energy and some subs. Robbie mentions in the post match that he had 3 to come on but was hindered with John looking like he might need to come off and him only having one more stoppage available. I think it was still a mistake one of the 3 should have been swapped and John comes off as a precaution for me. But I don't know how Big Jim is looking in training I suppose. 2 away games now are probably at the right time before the home crowd gets too toxic. Points needed!! I feel we're not a million miles away now, but let's see. |

Warning for main standers that usually arrive late. Only one turnstile is currently working! |

What are people's thoughts stick or twist with the starting eleven from Tuesday? I'm in 2 minds. They played very well but do you leave Hendo out? I'm not sure. I can imagine the back 5 will stay as they are maybe O'Donnell comes back in but Slicker did very well. |

Maybe it was 37 I remember glancing at it and thinking that's a high number! Thought I saw 87 but 37 seems more reasonable. Do all players on YTS and the U16s get preliminary first team squad numbers assigned or only when they come to be in a first team squad? |

As soon as they pulled out Wednesdays number in front of their fans I just knew it was gonna be us 😂. They looked very good tonight much better than Sunderland and they played a bit of a second string from what I can gather. |

Agree Villa and Everton are probably the standouts. Hadn't thought about it being a last chance to go to Goodison so that'd be my pick. |

Yes I think they were arguing about whether it was in the box. Not seen the highlights but in real time I thought it was a penalty but one of those the ref could have made the decision for a free kick. |

First half I thought 3 added minutes was a bit short with the stoppages. Only really the keeper in the second half I think. Not the worst officials we've had but bottled a few big calls luckily he gave the penalty I wasn't sure he would. |

Well that was my first game of the season and I really don't know what you've all been moaning about 😂. Firstly off the field. Moggy banner and ladders in the Pearl Street was a great touch. The Sandy did him proud and despite the low attendance having the Pearl Street closed helped generate a decent home atmosphere. Hopefully that's the lowest attendance we see! Although there was a cheer when they came on I'm sure it was saving some pennies and only turning the spotlights on when required. Energy bills have quadrupled for businesses! Another saving the club could make is on the match day announcer as I heard none of what he said all match. The 4th officials board failed as well so didn't have a clue how much added time we were playing. On the field we were athletic and strong showing a desire that sounds like has been missing. 5-4-1 without the ball and 3-4-2-1 with it is how I'd describe the formation. Sinclair and Tulloch as the 2 advanced midfielders they played much wider in the second half and seemed to have a good impact. We were resolute in our defending and quick and direct in the attack. First half we were the better team but only created half chances. Second half Burton seemed to tire and there tactical changes backfired. Especially bringing a big lad on to go one on one with Odoh. Odoh bossed it and used his strength brilliantly took the ball off him and came away with it several times. Sinclair played well but he's greedy, you don't mind if they go in but tonight they didn't. I think Tulloch was missing in the first half but grew into the second think it's a bit unfair to judge his performance with him hardly knowing the players. Rodney could be brilliant and his goal was superb he had a similar effort earlier saved so was glad to see him put that one away. Back 3 were solid so were the deep lying midfielders Toums and Ball. Seriki like Odoh had a great game as well and was one of our more attacking threats in both halves making some good runs, should have worked the keeper in the first half. Now we need some points! |

We've completed well probably had the better half chances. Let's hope we've not missed our chance guessing we might be playing a different team after a bollocking. |

Could be an interesting line up tonight. Expecting most of the new loanees to get a run out. Slicker, Nelson and Tulloch. The latter maybe from the bench. Taylor, Sinclair and Scanlon will be hoping for some minutes as well. |

Surprised it's until the end of the season. Not sure I can remember us having so many forwards. |
