Yep, been watching SFC since 1980 and I really can’t be bothered to go anymore this season.
I can sit on my fat arse at home, save £100+ and watch it on TV on a stream.
Bored with it.
It’s become a chore.
I can’t do midweek games unless I take a days holiday so pointless renewing my Season Ticket next season and my away days are no more so that ST privilege isn’t relevant.
A return to the Premeier League may swing me.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I did have 2 for sale but these were snapped up rapidly by unlike myself a loyal Southampton supporter.

We let too many goals in.
How many times are we caught on the break or a winger is given all the time in the world to get a cross in as our full backs are too narrow and don’t close down soon enough?.
When Calderwood came in the goals against improved with the help of a settled back four, especially the TBH and Bednarek partnership.
Playing TBH at Right Back was a mistake, don’t break up that CB partnership.
Stephens could of gone in at RB when needed or sorry Captain, you’ll have to wait your turn to get back in the side!
Also this insistence in passing in and around our penalty area has to stop. Some times it has to go Row Z or long.
We have conceded the same amount of top of the table Ipswich but the difference is they’ve done the double over us.
I’m sorry but with any of the other top six club’s managers in charge, with the players we have, we’d be top 2 at present.
Nothing against Martin, he seems a nice enough chap who seems well liked by the players, but his tactics haven’t worked yet as in automatic promotion.
We well may go up via the play offs but playing this way in the PL with the quality of player we will have is suicidal.
Throw in are we going to have as good a team next season if we stay in The Championship?

Royal Mail strikes or Blackburn not sending the tickets out in time will be the ticket office’s excuse.
There will be no apology just the “What you will HAVE to do is collect a duplicate from Blackburn’s ticket office on the day.”
The ticket office that is normally the opposite end of the stadium to the away end.
Good luck in getting the booking fee back. I’m looking forward to numerous phone calls and broken promises getting my £27.50 ticket exchange credit at the end of the season.
Can this credit be used towards a Play Off final ticket should we get there??
I also have not received a Blackburn ticket. |
