Town’s U18s will face Peterborough United at Portman Road in the third round of the FA Youth Cup after the Posh defeated Midland Football Alliance side Stratford Town 5-0 in their second round tie at London Road last night. The match has been pencilled in for Wednesday 8th December.

Last night's Peterborough side contained former Town schoolboys Josh Capocci and Nathan Ralph, who will be looking to impress against their former club at Portman Road.

Last season the young Blues reached the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup before being knocked out by Fulham, having defeated Arsenal in the previous round.

Town have won the competition three times, in 1973, 1975 and 2005.
