Robbie James played for Arsenal - a little known fact but it's true as this programme article remembers

It is little known that Robbie spent two days at Highbury (as was then) back in November 1974 - he even played in a game in the football combination - Arsenal reserves were beaten 2-0 by their Ipswich counterparts - before Robbie returned back to Wales suffering from homesickness.

The rest as they say is history.   And now organisers are well on the way to unveiling a bust of Robbie at the Liberty Stadium before the end of this season - just over 10 years since his untimely death in February 1998.
