With Lawrie McMenemy departing, who will take over the ambassadors club ? 

Whilst all Saints fans wait with baited breath for the outcome of the meeting between Nigel Pearson and Lowe/Wilde, the club have wasted no time in assuring fans not to worry because despite the departure of LawrieMcMenemy, the Ambassador's club will still continue next season.

McMenemy who has now left the club under a cloud three times, had been the host at the club with the aim that he would encourage local business's to get involved with the club through pre match dinner's hosted by himself alongside various ex players.

So who will take over the mantle ? of course there are a number of ex players and managers still on the fringes on the club who could do a sterling job, although Matt Le Tissier is the obviuos candidate, he is heavily involved with SKY every Saturday and not likely to give up that lucrative role, other sin the frame could be Francis Benali, Mark Dennis, David Armstrong or even Dave Merrington.

Personally this site would perhaps like to see a combination of all four, all have their strong points and connections within the business community and would be sure to attract potential sponsors.
