Get Off My Land.....

Type Story Title Here

Get off my Land

Was the cry by many Swans fans to all those egg chasing types.

The prospect of 20 stone lard arses, tearing up our hallowed turf was one of dread in this part of the world and one of most amusements to the sad acts in the east.

However after 3 games off egg and 7 games of football the pitch looks superb and is not causing us a problem at all.

Ah yes I hear you cry it is still early days, the rugby season has only just started and the weather will get worse.

All fair points, however when you look a bit deeper things do look very promising and here's my reasons why.

  1. The pitch is built on a sand base, drainage is excellent. FACT
  2. The synthetic woven fibres will help to prevent divots. FACT
  3. The egg chasers will only play 5 home games from now until January, with the chance of at least one of those being at the Gnoll.
  4. They only play 3 home games of egg from the 13th of Jan to the 24th of March, so during the wet months very little home egg is being played

There see, it doesn't look so bad now does it, add to that the transparent roof and the great ventilation caused by 15,000 made Jacks singing their hearts out and I firmly believe all our fears and all their hopes up the road will come to nothing.

That's all we need now is a little corporate Identity on the exterior of the stadium and in the Riverside lounge and we will be there.
