One To Watch - Wycombe Wanderers

Name: Tommy Mooney Position: Striker Squad No.: 16 Height: 5'11 Weight: 79kg Date of Birth: 11.8.1971 Place of Birth: Middlesbrough Nationality: English

A proven goalscorer at all levels of the English game, Tommy's career spans 16 years and involves 10 clubs. It also includes a spell in the Premiership with Watford, where he made over 200 appearances. Tommy started his career at Aston Villa as a trainee but he quickly moved to Scarborough, where he impressed enough to earn a move to Watford, where he scored over 70 goals in eight seasons. Then came an unsettled period of four seasons where Tommy moved to Birmingham, Stoke, Sheffield United, Derby, Swindon and Oxford before joining Wycombe. Mooney is now in his second year at Adams Park after signing from Oxford at the start of last season, and finished as the club's top scorer with 19 goals. He was handed the captaincy following Roger Johnson's departure.
