Roberto Martinez will bring his Swansea City squad home tomorrow after a successful and productive week in Sweden which will end today - 24 hours after his side dismantled Ostersund 5-2 in a pre-season game.

Darryl Duffy, Darren Pratley, Ferrie Bodde and Paul Anderson (2) were all on target as the Swans got their pre-season fixtures off to the perfect start in Sweden and it was fair reward for a good week's work for Roberto.

Speaking on the official site he said "All our aims out here have been achieved, the whole week was perfect.

"It's been a good team building and bonding exercise with all the new players gelling well with the rest of the squad.

"By coming away, we got rid of all the distractions of home. We've been able to focus fully on our fitness work with three, sometimes four, sessions a day.

"It's been hard for the boys in the high altitude because the body tires a lot quicker. But once the body gets a few days rest, they will feel the full benefits.

"I can guarantee you it will be worth it because they'll feel a lot fitter for the tough season ahead."

Roberto was also happy with the result declaring "Everyone available had at least 45 minutes.

"It was a good exercise and we showed plenty of quality. It was a big game for Ostersund and they gave everything. But we performed well and some of the goals we scored were fantastic.''
