Febian Brandy returns to Swansea on a six month loan deal from Manchester United

After spending much of the second half of last season on loan at the Liberty Stadium, Febian Brandy has agreed to return on a six month loan deal and will join up with the squad that heads out to Spain today.

Brandy was always a target of Roberto's this summer and, unlike Liverpool duo Paul Anderson and Adam Hammill, he was prepared to committ himself to a spell at Swansea and be part of their Championship push.

Brandy scored the last goal of the Swans League One winning season last year when he netted the only goal at Brighton on May 3, one of 3 goals in 21 appearances he made last season - all but 4 of those were as a substitute.

We are delighted to have him back,'' explained Robertovia the club's official website www.swanseacity.net. "His attitude last season was excellent and we enjoyed watching and working with a player of Premiership potential.

"He always made it clear that he wanted to come back and join our Championship campaign and we are looking forward to seeing him perform at the next level.

"He's got balance, strength, sharpness and a great eye for goal. He's worked hard over the pre-season and will be back a stronger player.

"He's a great addition to the squad; he's a completely different player to those we've got and will provide added competition to the squad.''

Brandy's addition fills another hole in the squad that Roberto was always keen to fill leaving now seemingly just a goalkeeper and another wide player to follow.
