YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU !!! 

John F Kennedy once said

 "Ask not what you country can do for you ! But what you can do for your country ! "

At this moment in time that famous quotation could not be more apt when adapted to the current plight of Southampton Football Club, yes of course there will be those who turn around and say "But Ive already given" or " Im not giving anything to those useless overpaid ****'s " and I can empathise with anyone with that viewpoint.

However now is not the time for moaning, now is the time for action and the fact is Southampton Football Club needs its supporters now more than at any other time during its history.

Put bluntly this club could die within the next few days if its supporters dont help keep it going.

So please come along to Saints Aid in your thousands, come and celebrate what hopefully will be the rebirth of the club under new ownership, dont let your grandchildren say in years to come

 " Didn't we used to have a football club in Southampton ? "  

No far btter that you are able to say to them "I played my part in saving Southampton Football Club ! "

Of course it will be the case that the minority will once again dig deep and make sure that when we draw Man United at home in the cup again the majority will flock back, as they did last season, when the good times return and we play in the Fa Cup Final again, the majority will be able to don their face paint and wigs and sing "Im Southampton Till I Die " when they really should be singing "Till IT Dies" sadly this is the way of the world.

I realise Im starting to sound like Bob Geldof now, but then again it is Saints Aid, so come along tommorrow, buy the T Shirt, buy the CD but more importantly to paraphrase good old Bob.
