 Sunday, 19th Jul 2009 12:25 The News of the World is linking Fiorentina striker Samuel di Carmine with a move to the Liberty this summer Di Carmine knows Sousa well, after spending last season on loan at Loftus Road with QPR, scoring just 3 goals in 32 appearances. The NOTW reports that Sousa has approached his club Fiorentina about the possibility of the Italian joining on a season long loan, but Ascoli are also in the race for his signature. It's expected that a new striker will join up before the team leaves for their tour of Spain.
