Alan Curtis and Colin Pascoe look set to be assistants to Brendan Rodgers in the Swans new managerial line up

The new Swansea City manager watched from the sidelines as the Swans won at Yeovil on Saturday and Curt reckons that he will fit in perfectly at the Liberty.

The Evening Post reports as well that Curt along with Colin Pascoe will be assistants to the new manager with Pasc likely to take the deputy role as Brendan elects to not bring a number 2 with him.

Speaking to the Evening Post, Curt said "I would guess Colin (as No 2) because he's been first-team coach, but it doesn't worry us really

"Brendan is the manager and Colin and I will work closely with him in whatever he asks us to do.

"There's talk of a sports scientist coming in, but apart from that I think it will just be the existing staff.

"We're really looking forward to Brendan. He's got a good reputation and the meetings we've had so far have been really positive.

"He's briefly outlined his principles of the game, what he's looking for in training and from what I've heard I think he'll dovetail perfectly into the club.

"It's a style we play anyway, so at this stage, without playing any games, it looks like it could be a really good appointment."

Curt was also happy to see the Swans gain a confidence boosting win at the weekend and added "I think every coach and every manager would say the same thing — these games are still fitness exercises and the important thing is not the result, it's that the players are getting minutes under their belts and everybody comes through unscathed

"Thankfully we got the victory, most of the boys got a good hour in and everybody — touch wood — is free from injury.

"It was a good little move for the goal, certainly a good finish and I thought we could have had a few more."
