Saints Get FA Cup 3rd Round Prices Right

Saints have got the ticket pricing for the forthcoming FA Cup 3rd round Spot on.

Saints have announced the pricing for the forthcoming FA Cup 3rd round tie against either Rotherham or Luton and it seems they have thought carefully and got the pricing structure just right.

Once again they are rewarding Season Ticket holders for their loyalty in putting their cash up front and most fans would agree that this is only right.

But all supporters are rewarded if they buy their ticket in advance, the pricing is as follows.

In Advance

Season ticket holders £10

Senior/Young Adult Season ticket holders £7

Junior Season Ticket Holders £5

In Advance Non Season Ticket Holders

Adult £15

Senior/Young Adult £10

Juniors £5

On Day of Game

Adult £18

Senior/Young Adult £12

Juniors £10

At this moment in time only certain blocks in the Itchen, Northam & Kingsland will be open, so season ticket holders will not be able to reserve their normal seats.

The number of travelling away supporters will depend on the opposition, should Rotherham get through then they will probably bring down no more than a thousand or so fans,  however should Luton progress then they could be wanting a full allocation of 4,200 tickets, strange then that  Saints are allocating the Northam before the result of the replay is known, although of course Im sure both clubs will have been consulted already, that being the case I do feel that perhaps both Saints and Luton have underestimated Luton's ability to sell 4,000 tickets, I do feel that it has the potential as in several cup ties in the past ie Brentford, when an away club wants more tickets only to find Saints have sold seats in the Northam so they cant be accomodated.

From a football supporters point of view whilst i do feel that the northam offers great vocal backing, in these days when we cant fill the stadium, we have to maximise income from away support, those of us old enough to remember the great cup ties in the past when clubs, including ourselves would take massive away followings in the FA Cup hanker after those days, personally if St mary's isnt full in the Cup then give the visitors all the tickets we can is my view.

Tickets go on sale to season ticket holders from Monday 7th December and general sale a week later from the 14th, the advance prices will be available until the day prior to the game.
