A Win Is Important
Monday, 24th Feb 2014 09:46

Samir Nasri has drawn upon his experience of Wembley heartbreak to warn Manchester City that losing Sunday’s Capital One Cup final could harm their title challenge. Nasri is haunted by his first club appearance at Wembley, when the Gunners were big favourites to beat relegation strugglers Brum three years ago.

“I have the experience of losing the Carling Cup with Arsenal,” he said. “After that we only won one game in the league, so a win would be really important for us and the confidence.”

“I don't have good memories with clubs,” Nasri said. “I lost the final with Arsenal and with Manchester City but I won there with the national team against England. I hope it is going to be the same kind of game.”
