Swans Fans Predicting Home Win
Friday, 22nd Aug 2014 08:38 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

Last week the majority of people in our prediction league got the result wrong at Old Trafford with the majority predicting we would open up with a defeat. This week we hope that the record is better as over 90% are currently predicting a Swans win against Burnley.

The win at Old Trafford has increased optimism significantly around the fanbase and so far - with over 75 entries made already for this game - only one person has predicted that we will lose the fixture with the home win being the result of choice of so many.

Burnley opened up their campaign with a home defeat against Chelsea and will be keen to take their first points of the season home from the fixture but the Swans will start as overwhelming favourites with their own support and also favourites at the bookies too.

On the scoreline front 3-0 is a predicted scoreline with Swans fans with over 1/3 of people predicting that as a result whilst 3-1 and 2-0 features prominently as well in the predicting stakes.

With our special Betfred offer, you can get double odds of 22/1 on a 3-0 Swans win or 8/1 on Wilfried Bony to score first goal. Simply click here for details

It won't be a surprise for you to learn that Wilfried Bony features highly in the first goalscorer stakes with almost half predicting him to score the Swans first home goal of the season whilst Bafetimbi Gomis and Gylfi Sigurddson are the next two favourites amongst Swans fans to score first.
