Wednesday, 14th Jan 2015 22:47

Saints are again slashing prices for the FA Cup so that should assure a full house against Crystal Palace.

Saints have already announced the pricing structure for the visit of Crystal Palace in the 4th round of the FA Cup.

The match — which is set to take place on Saturday 24th January (kick-off 3pm) — will go on sale to Season Ticket holders from 9am on Thursday 15th January.

Season Ticket holders will have until Sunday 18th January to secure their seats for the fixture before they are release on general sale from 9am on Monday 19th January.

Tickets for this fixed are priced at £12 for Adults, £7 for Concessions*, and £5 for Under-17s.

With Crystal Palace sure to take a full allocation it should be a cracking atmosphere as Saints have a great chance to put an FA Cup run together.

It certainly wasn't a cracking atmosphere against Ipswich. It's an excellent move by the club to encourage the next generation of Saints fans, but it doesn't half kill the atmosphere.

I hope to God that they don't let in 4,000 noisy Palace fans whilst simultaneously removing the Northam, which is frankly where 90% of the chants emanate. We were massively out-sung against Ipswich. There must be another way of doing it.

When we got through to the FA Cup final in 2003 we played every game at home up until the semis, having 4,000 noisy Spurs, Wolves and Norwich fans didnt effect us (Millwall only took the normal allocation)

At least they havnt got the whole end this time.

Now this would be a great time to encourage a lot of the itchen/ kingsland corner crew to gather at the back of the Chapel and try and get something going there.

Probably not enough time to organise anything but I'm looking to pre empt the post palace inquest on the lack of home atmosphere!

Nick, am pretty sure I was in Block 42 of the Northam for the 4-0 Spurs game. Think it was just Norwich and Wolves where we got moved.
