The number of clubs who are being linked with Sadio Mane grows by the hour with German giants Bayern Munich the latest to be allegedly about to swoop.

The bad news is that yet another so called big club is being linked with Sadio Mane, the good news is that if these clubs are serious then it will push up the price.

But the reality is that Saints are now in control of when players are allowed to leave the club and a repeat of the summer of 2014 will not happen again, this means that if Mane is to go it is more likely to be in the summer of 2016 than in January.

The price of success is that your players are coveted by those who consider themselves bigger and better and usually have more financial clout.
