No, now Spring is coming, he'll emerge from his winter hibernation, like he did last year, and start scoring goals again. He is, literally, a fair weather player.

Stop setting hares running Nick as people will pile in on the poor sod who has done nothing wrong other than be a bit rusty through lack of match practice.

Very few of our forward substitutions have produced anything of significance this season, the game is so fast now that the guys coming on just don't have enough time or enough of the ball to get up to speed mentally and physically.

SaintBrock, I take it you didnt actually watch the video, as although I said i thought that Pelle by his own choice would want to leave for Italy in the summer to end his career there, I sang his praises, urged people to get behind him rather than on his back and said i felt he would still play a big part this season

I did watch the video Nick and I wasn't having a go at you for what you said which as you say was supportive but if you open up a topic like this just after Pelle's Saturday misfortunes it gives a platform for his critics to really get onto his case.

Although they would never acknowledge it directly players must have a sneaky look at websites like yours most days just to see what fans are saying about them and the vitriol being hurled at Pelle on another so-called fansite is just the sort of stuff that will drive these guys away.

No, I am not advocating say nothing bad about anybody but comments need to have balance. An awful lot of people say the first thing that comes into their heads without thought for the damage or offence it might cause on public media.

Good points made... The slagging I've seen has been well out of order as he's been a big part of our 'rise from the ashes' of a couple of years ago. That aside, I don't think he did the job expected of him on Saturday, out of touch and trying to be too clever given the circumstances. I can understand why Ron brought him on but as it turned out it was a 'bad call'.

SaintBrock, in fairness Ronald Koeman commented on Pelle's display, so if it is good enough for him etc lol
