Sponsor Saints Fan Lewis Coombes On His Epic Cycle Ride !
Sunday, 10th Sep 2017 16:00

Lewis Coombes is now the same age as his Father Kevin was when he suffered a life changing cycling accident, many Saints fans will know Kevin and hopefuly will help his son raise money for two charities close to his heart.

None of us know when tragedy might strike and that was the case for Kevin Coombes when he was knocked off his bike in an accident that left him fighting for his life, luckily he survived but was left permanently disabled.

But despite this Kevin did not lay back and feel sorry for himself, he accepted that he would have to change his life and became an inspiration to his family and friends , not least his son Lewis who is now setting out on a cycle trip from Lands End to John O'Groats as not only a tribute to his Father but to raise money for two very different charities, Kick4Life a football based charity and Headway who help those affected by brain injuries.

Lewis speaking before he set out on his challenge said

"At the same age I am now, my dad Kevin had a cycling accident that left him permanently disabled. There was a high chance he wouldn’t live and little chance he’d ever walk again.
Thankfully, he did both. Every day he overcomes challenges linked to his disability. By doing this ride I want to show him that he’s an inspiration to me, and draw on his strength to overcome my own challenge."

Many Saints supporters will know Kev who is a lifelong and passionate Saints supporter and hopefully they will spare a little cash and sponsor Lewis using the link below.
