Saints Have Already Sold More Season Tickets Than Last Season
Tuesday, 11th Jun 2019 13:24

There seems to be a wave of optimism going into the new season with Saints already having sold more season tickets at the start of June than they had by the end of the recently ended season.

Saints will be pleased that their price reductions for season tickets appear to have paid off along with a new general wave of optimism that started to creep back into the Saints fanbase after the arrival of Ralph Hasenhuttl.

The Daily Echo has reported that the club has sold somewhere around 20,000 season tickets so far, higher than last seasons total and with new season ticket sales not yet getting into full swing.

The club in it's new pricing structure has focused heavily on providing cheap access for younger supporters as well as a section where season tickets will only be £399, for those that are interested in that low price the advice is to get in quick as there are only a limited number still available.

For once some positive news coming from St Mary's and a sign that many supporters can see the progress the club has made recently to address the issues that led to two seasons of relegation worries.

It does 'though rather smack of fair weather, bandwagons and 'plastics'. Doubt the club care much if they can get 30K bums on seats for every match. Not much hope for casuals who go along just to see the big boys.
