Saints Get Home Draw In The FA Cup
Monday, 2nd Dec 2019 19:39

Saints have been drawn at home in the FA Cup and will be quietly confident that they can progress into the 4th Round.

Saints have been drawn against Huddersfield Town in the 3rd round of the FA Cup and will be pleased with the tie.

Although the Yorkshire club were in the Premier League last season, they are struggling in the Championship and lie only two points off of the relegation zone after a poor start.

Like Saints their problems are defensive and the 19 goals they have conceded away from home is beaten only by Luton who have conceded 25.

The tie will be played on the first weekend of 2020, hopefully Saints can have a good run in the FA Cup and use it to kick start their revival in the New Year.
